Every year the ICT Register holds a conference. This year it was at Loughborough University on January 29th.

I have put a link below to a presentation by guest speaker Russell Prue about how ICT is rapidly expanding. It is vital that schools appreciate the impact that ICT is having on children's lives and how we need to prepare them for a future dominated by ICT.

I have found that the use of ICT within my teaching has stimulated children’s interest and helped bring lessons to life. There are huge benefits in terms of learning styles and thinking skills.
Most children pick up new technology very quickly. It can be highly motivating for them to record their work digitally and to see teachers using digital technology as a part of learning.

I aim to give examples and practical ideas throughout this blog which show how ICT can be used in the classroom.
